Jennel Annette Garcia (born June 8, 1994) is an American pop-rock singer from Rochester, Massachusetts who finished in 11th place on season 2 of The X Factor USA. She was part of the Young Adults catagory, mentored by Demi Lovato.
Post X Factor
Since her elimination, Jennel has been busy working on an album and keeping her fans up-to-date via Twitter. She has already posted videos of her covering the Alanis Morissette hit "You Oughta Know" and her audition song, "Paris (Oh La La)", on her YouTube channel.
Jennel recently recorded guest vocals on Lyric 145's version of the Maroon 5 hit "One More Night" for their mixtape, The L.O.F.F. Tape. She also collabrated with the group Boyce Avenue on their cover of the Imagine Dragons hit "Demons", which had been previously covered by Jeff Gutt during season 3. She's also kept busy with posting cover videos on YouTube.
Tour
Jennel was a part of the UneXpected Tour along with Lyric 145, Paige Thomas, and Willie Jones. The tour kicked off on August 3, 2013 in Providence, Rhode Island. She is currently on the road with Stay Seventeen, Fourth & Coast, and Crash The Party,which kicked off on June 7, 2014 in Barrington, Illinois.
New single
Jennel debuted her new single, "Hate to Love You", on digitaltourbus.com on June 3, 2014. The single was released on iTunes on June 10, 2014. The music video for her newest single, "The Only One" debuted on September 1, 2015.
