Kelly Rowland
Kelendria Trene Rowland (born February 11, 1981) is an American singer-songwriter, actress, dancer and television personality who was now a judge on The X Factor USA.
Career
Born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in Houston, Texas, Rowland first rose to fame as one of the founding members of Destiny's Child and has also acheived success as a solo artist. As an actress, Rowland has appeared in such films as Freddy vs. Jason, The Seat Filler, and Think Like a Man. She was previously a judge on the eighth series of the UK version of The X Factor, where she mentored the Girls catagory, and even hosted The Fashion Show on the Bravo network.
The X Factor
Rowland joined Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, and Latin superstar Paulina Rubio as a judge on season 3 of The X Factor. The announcement was made on May 20, 2013. She mentored the Over 25s catagory. Her acts were Lillie McCloud, James Kenney, Rachel Potter, and Jeff Gutt, who was the runner-up.
Personal Life
Rowland married her longtime boyfriend, music manager Tim Witherspoon, on May 9, 2014 in Costa Rica. The couple have a son, Titan Jewel Witherspoon, who was born on November 4, 2014.
